I remember seeing a series of "Hitler and Stalin-books" at the Russian market place in Tallinn. They had covers very much like this one. The stories are probably crap, but they did look cool ;)
It's a work of satire, but it's an interesting take on alternate history and the power of literaute. I have not read it myself, although I keep an eye out for it at used book stores.
And out of print here. Unfortunately my paperback copy disappeared over 20 yrs. ago. One of the best book-cover designs ever.
